Top British singers headlined the biggest ever Bristol Gay Pride yet on 13 July.
Over 25,000 people attended this weekend’s festival that had over 150 acts and performers taking part in the day.
The main stage was headlined by ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who said she had ‘lots of fun’ at the event.
Blue, with bisexual singer Duncan James, also performed their brand new single Break My Heart.
Daryn Carter, festival organizer said: ‘This year was by far the biggest Pride event we have ever had in Bristol and the atmosphere was electric, it truly was a celebration with everyone in Bristol coming together.
‘The whole teamed worked incredibly hard to ensure the day ran smoothly, from helping people with information to handing out free water to the crowds.
‘I am really proud of what we have achieved and that due to the commitment and hard work of all our volunteers we managed to keep it a free event for everyone to attend.’
Other people to perform included disco dance act Ronika and X Factor star Ruth Lorenzo.
Electro pop princess Little Boots headlined a sell-out Pride after-party in the Bristol O2 Academy raising over £8,000 ($12k, €9k) for Pride.
