A South Korean man has been arrested for spreading lesbian rumors about a member of girl group Lovelyz.

In November, the man, only identified as A, posed as an ex-girlfriend of Seo Ji-soo on internet forums and accused the singer of sexual assault.

Seoul police tracked the man down using his IP address and charged him with spreading malicious rumors. The arrest was made last month but was only reported on Wednesday (11 February).
