Four of the five original Spice Girls are about to announce their first tour in ten years.

Ginger Spice (Geri Horner), Scary Spice (Mel B), Baby Spice (Emma Bunton) and Sporty Spice (Mel C) have secretly recorded a tour announcement video which they are set to unleash on the world today according to The Sun.

But the hotly anticipated reunion tour will be without one of the group’s most popular members, Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham). According to the newspaper, Posh will stay home to focus on her fashion business and family.

Done in a news style format, the Spice Girls will make fun of their individual personalities in the tour announcement video. It is dropping on Monday afternoon (5 November).

The Spice Girls will also appear on the Jonathon Ross late night talk show to discuss the upcoming tour.

Posh Spice revealed in an interview last month that Elton John inspired her to leave the Spice Girls. She said she did not have the same passion for music that he did.

‘I went to see him in Vegas in doing The Red Piano… and I remember sitting there very near to the front and looking at him singing those songs he’d sung time after time, year after year, and his passion and his enjoyment was incredible, even after all that time.’ she said in October.

‘And a few nights later, I was on stage at Madison Square Garden with the Spice Girls.

‘I thought: “It’s almost like a waste that I’m given this opportunity. I appreciate the time I’ve had with the girls, but I don’t have what Elton can have after all these years.”‘

‘There was nothing there,’ she furthermore added. ‘Other than that my kids were in the audience and I wanted them to see Mummy doing the Spice Girls.’

The Spice Girls were one of the biggest selling groups of the 90s. Known for starting the Girl Power movement, some of their biggest hits include Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life.

The video announcing the tour appeared on Twitter at 3pm GMT. Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10.30am.
