One of the recurring themes of RuPaul’s Drag Race is the complicated relationship many queens have with their fathers.
But for one queen, Yvie Oddly, her father is her biggest fan.
The bald-headed self-proclaimed ‘weird’ queen shared how her father supported her for her first episode.
Season 11 began last night (28 February) on VH1.
Yvie said on Instagram: ‘My dad is gonna kill me (he NEVER takes photos) but look how adorkable he is for the big day.’
The queen’s dad was wearing a T-shirt from her merchandise, proudly supporting his gay son.
And Drag Race fans are thirsty.
‘Forget Yvie,’ one said on Reddit. ‘I Want The Dad! Like Damn. No Joke. 😭😭😭😭 Im into him.’
Another said: ‘Omg daddy! 😍’
And another said: ‘He’s giving me kratos god of war with that goatee and I’m trying desperately not to have crush on Yvvie Oddlys dad right now.’
But others were just happy that Yvie’s dad is so wonderful.
‘We love a supportive drag father!’ one said.
Another said: ‘this is so adorable. Glad her father is so supportive.’
