The graphic on the Fab Five's benefit t-shirt

The Fab Five of Netflix’s Queer Eye have recently launched a unique Pride t-shirt. All net proceeds from the shirt go to benefit The Center for Transyouth Health and Development at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

The shirt

‘We’re so proud to come together for this important cause. This shirt is an incredible representation of Queer Eye’s mission to make people feel seen, supported and loved,’ the Fab Five say of the shirt. ‘Plus, we think it’ll look great on you.’

‘Can you believe… how awesome this t-shirt is from Queer Eye’s Fab Five?’ the description of the shirt on Omaze reads.

‘Not only will it inspire you to live your best life, it’ll help others too. That’s because every shirt sold will benefit The Center for Transyouth Health and Development at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and their mission to support transgender youth and their families. Whether you pair this tee with a bomber jacket or your favorite patterned button-down, you can wear it proudly knowing you’re sending some love to a great cause. (We’re not crying, you’re crying.)’

The Center

The Center for Transyouth Health and Development ‘promotes healthy futures for transyouth by providing services, research, training and capacity building that is developmentally informed, affirmative, compassionate and holistic for gender non-conforming children and transyouth,’ according to their website. Additionally, The Center is celebrating its 1,000 transyouth in active care.

The Fab Five and Trans Youth

On season two of Queer Eye, the Fab Five helped out a transgender man for the first time in the show’s history. While some members of the group, like Tan, didn’t have much experience with trans people prior to this episode, their experience with Skyler Jay broadened their understanding of the transgender side of the LGBTI community. And now, they’re giving back.

The black t-shirt, featuring the Fab Five as fruit icons, comes in a unisex crewneck and a women’s crewneck. Two versions are available. One reads ‘Queer I Am’ in rainbow lettering and the other features just the fruit icons. The sizes range from XS to XXXL.

You can buy this fabulous t-shirt here and feel great about rocking a Pride shirt that actually benefits LGBTI youth.
