Thomas Cook cocks it up-1

Some artworks define a generation: the Mona Lisa, the Sistine Chapel, the Bad Romance music video. Well, Thomas Cook can finally be inducted into their ranks with the reveal of their plane.

After ditching the 18 – 30 holidays beloved by so many binge-drinkers in Britain, the UK travel brand have opted to appeal to milennials with their rebranded packages, The Cook’s Club.

They unveiled it on the side of the plane, which is innocuous enough… Until the emergency exits open.

Thomas Cook also had a livery fail

Oh, ‘I <3 Cock’. It’s good to see my high school bullies have started decorating planes.

Multiple versions of this image have been found throughout the internet, including planes from different angles. So no Photoshop here. Just cold, hard metal doing its best on the side of a family tour operator’s aircraft.

It’s not been a good week for airlines across the globe. Hong Kong airline Cathay Pacific kindly asked their decorators to write the name of their brand in big, bold letters across the side of one of their aircraft.

Unfortunately, they made a mistake. And people from Hong Kong International Airport spotted it.

They completely missed out the ‘F’. Cathay Paciic. Absolute classic. The airline joked on Twitter: ‘Oops this special livery won’t last long! She’s going back to the shop!’
