Two men found guilty of raping teen boy in Manchester toilet

Two men have been found guilty of sexual assault and rape of a 14-year-old boy in a Manchester toilet.

Alex Wilson-Fletcher, 41, and Abdelkader El-Janabi, 55, attacked the boy in a British department store in June last year.

The teen had told police he was marched by two men into a Debenhams where he was assaulted in the bathroom.

In court, the boy said the pair had approached in the Arndale Centre when El-Janabi grabbed his arm and told him to follow him, the BBC reports.

He said El-Janabi led him out of the shopping centre and across the road to the Debenham store, where he walked him to the third floor toilets, followed by Wilson-Fletcher.

Once inside, the two men both touched him before El-Janabi raped him.

Managing to escape the pair, the teen fled the toilets, ran and reported the incident to police later that night.

Greater Manchester Police arrested the two men last August.

At Manchester Crown Court, Wilson-Fletcher and El-Janabi were convicted of rape and sexual assault, and will be sentenced on 6 June.
