Valentina proves every rose does have its thorns..

Valentina may have won Miss Congeniality, but she definitely did not win it in the eyes of her Season 9 sisters.

If you watched the reunion, you might remember how the Linda Evangelista-looking Latin beauty was called out for not caring about the abuse her fans were sending other queens.

Aja said she did not deserve the title of the most ‘congenial’, and Farrah Moan called out Valentina for refusing to answer her texts or calls.

‘You clearly don’t focus on anyone but yourself,’ Aja said. ‘And yeah, you have a lot of fans. That’s great. Your fans love you. But is it fan favorite or is it congeniality?… Congeniality? I just don’t see it.’

While Valentina might have been ‘unmasked’ as Villaintina, it doesn’t stop the fact she has a legion of fans.

So the season 9 fan favorite decided to send some ‘love’.

‘Hi guys, I have an idea! I love red roses so why don’t we leave red roses in the comment sections of all of my season 9 sisters to show them that we’re not all hateful. Yah?’ she said on Instagram.

Fans has now left red rose emojis on every single season 9 queen, with those like Aja, Farrah and Shea getting the most. But it’s not just season 9 queens, roses have been sent to every single queen to have ever appeared on Drag Race, RuPaul and anyone even tangentially attached to the show. The only ones protected have private social media accounts.

And even though the red roses might be there, the hateful messages are still continuing.

But at least Aja is turning it into something positive.

I guess it’s true what they say, every rose does have its thorns…

The finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9 takes place on 23 June on VH1.
