Last December, drag star Courtney Act revealed to her fans that she had unprotected sex with a guy whom she later knew was actually HIV positive.
‘Last week I had unprotected sex with somebody who I found out was HIV positive, which, on my behalf, wasn’t a smart decision,’ the Australian RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6 star said. ‘I should have taken more precautions and used a condom or other precautions like PrEP.’
She then shared that she started taking PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis), a drug that can help to reduce the chance of infection post-exposure to the virus.
On Wednesday, the queen uploaded a video on her Facebook page to share with her fans her STI test results after her one-month PEP regime.
She did her testing at the Los Angeles LGBT Center in West Hollywood.
