Watch Irish bigot go on rant about same-sex marriage, he completely messes it up

A video of an Irish man who completely messed up his rant on same-sex marriage is going viral.

The equal marriage debate on TV3, in preparation for the referendum in May, was a part of Vincent Browne’s public forum debate in Cork.

One slightly angry-looking man from the audience grabbed the microphone, and slightly confused his words when opposing gay people getting married.

‘We want family values,’ he said, ‘and we don’t want to see men and woman getting married! And that’s the holy all of it.’

Giggles from the audience soon become laughter, including the host and invited guests.

The man, initially bewildered by the audience’s amusement, then had it explained by another audience member what he had said.

He then demanded the microphone back, in an attempt to recover, and then continued his rant about same-sex marriage and the majority of Ireland’s political parties.
