Janet Jackson has performed her new single Made For Now for the first time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The 52-year-old was joined by Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee for the appearance in New York City last night.
It was the All For You singer‘s first performance on a late night talk show in 14 years.
‘I’ve always loved Latin music’
The sister of the late music icon Michael Jackson told iHeartRadio of the song: ‘I’ve always loved Latin music, and obviously, the African music is there and always been an influence.
‘Coming from what Daddy Yankee does in reggaeton, it’s inspiration. It’s reggae music, which brings you back to the African vibe, the whole bit. It was really nice working with him.’
Janet is of course known for hits such as Doesn’t Really Matter, That’s The Way Love Goes and Control. Her last album Unbreakable reached number on in the US. She has sold an estimated 100 million records worldwide.
