Lady Gaga gives powerhouse performance to honor David Bowie

It was the moment everyone was waiting for at the Grammys, the David Bowie tribute by Lady Gaga.

While it was a little strange to see Mother Monster dressed up as Ziggy Stardust, she delivered a powerhouse medley of some of the Thin White Duke’s most iconic hits including Space Oddity, Fashion and Let’s Dance.

She finished the performance with a soaring cover of Heroes which brought the star-studded crowd to their feet.

The legendary rocker passed away after losing a battle with cancer, at the age of 69, in January.

Gaga’s tribute is the latest in a long line of people who have honored the British star, including Madonna, Cher and Annie Lennox. And here are just 16 times David Bowie cemented his place as a legend.
