Weddings come in all shapes and size, but we think this one in Malta was just right.
Karl Boxall and Simon Law got married in sunny Malta (both are Maltese) on June 11. They filmed much of the ceremony by drone.
The footage comes over the habor at Couvre Port, Vittoriosa, Malta, and eventually comes to rest on the ceremony.
‘The wedding was attended by family and friends.
‘The union was officiated by the current Mayor of Vittoriosa (Birgu), who also happens to be my father,’ Boxall told Gay Star News.
Later the film shows the festivities following the ceremony and spectacular fireworks set to music.
The wedding was in fact a civil union, which became legal in April 2014.
Law works in a local bank and Bozall as a sales representative.
The couple have been together for 12 years this September.
They met on holiday while in Gozo, Malta, and were introduced to each other by mutual friends.
‘We wanted to share the love,’ Boxall says.
