A new video game gives you the chance to play as a canonical gay superhero for the first time.
And not just one, but two.
Wiccan and Hulkling, the gay couple of the Young Avengers, are playable characters in the new Lego Marvel Avengers game.
You meet them together in a cave when exploring the map in Manhattan.
The only problem, perhaps, is that while this is sure to be a treat for LGBTI comic books fans who know about the couple – it does not make it explicit they are a couple in the game.
While other games have given you the opportunity to play gay before, like in Skyrim or Mass Effect as a new, separate character that is by default up to you what their sexuality is, this is the first time you can play as a canonical gay superhero.
Lego Marvel Avengers, which follows the plot of the first two Avengers films, is a huge success.
It is the first all formats number one of 2016 in many countries across the globe, the eighth Lego game to do so.
